What is TickerKey?

TickerKey is a context-aware iOS keyboard designed for investors. It lets you look up live stock prices, charts, news, and market sentiment directly from any app where you type. No need to switch between apps.

How do I use it?

Simply type a dollar sign followed by a ticker symbol (e.g. $AAPL) in any text field. TickerKey recognizes the prefix and displays real-time market data inline. No extra steps, no app-switching.

Does TickerKey read my messages or keystrokes?

No. TickerKey does not collect, store, or transmit any text you type. The keyboard only processes ticker symbol lookups (prefixed with $) locally on your device. Market data requests go directly to our data providers without any of your message content. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What markets and assets are supported?

TickerKey supports US equities (NYSE, NASDAQ), major ETFs, and popular cryptocurrencies. We're actively working on adding more markets and asset classes based on user feedback.

Is TickerKey free?

TickerKey is currently in beta and free to use. Pricing details for the full release will be announced closer to launch. Beta users may receive special early-adopter benefits.

Is an Android version available?

TickerKey is currently iOS-only. An Android version is on our roadmap but we don't have a timeline yet. Join the beta to stay updated on platform expansions.

Why does iOS ask for "Full Access" when enabling the keyboard?

iOS requires "Full Access" for any keyboard that needs network connectivity. TickerKey needs it solely to fetch live market data from our providers. We do not use this permission to access, read, or log your keystrokes or messages.

How do I join the beta?

Head to our Join Beta section and sign up with your email. We'll send you an invite with instructions to install TickerKey via TestFlight.

How do I delete my account?

Sign in and go to your Account page. Scroll to the "Danger Zone" section and click "Delete Account." You'll need to type DELETE to confirm. This action is permanent and removes all your data.
